What makes Hexistat better than other antibacterial products?

What are our Competitive Advantages Against other Products in the Market?
Our product is a high-end antibacterial product that was developed with many consumers and industries in mind. Some key advantages of our product are:
  • Non-toxic ingredients which are non-drying on the skin.
  • Pleasant yet gender neutral scent.
  • Benzethonium Chloride as the active ingredient, but one of our inactive ingredients, Chlorhexidine Gluconate  has synergistic properties with Benzothonium Chloride and acts as a booster to the killing power for bacteria.
  • Because alcohol based antibacterial products evaporate as they dry, there is no continuous protection from common germs that surround us everyday. Hexistat is formulated with non-toxic ingredients that provide protection for several hours.
  • There are many other antibacterial products that can kill MRSA (Staph) within an average of 1 to 5 minutes, however Hexistat has been proven to kill MRSA and other bacteria  within 30 seconds:

Hexistat Alcohol-Free Germicidial Hand Wipes

Hexistat alcohol-free germicidal hand wipes designed to offer the highest level of personal protection and convenience. Hexistat Germicidal Hand Wipes have been specially formulated to destroy the vast majority of bacteria, microbes and viruses without the use of alcohol, which can cause skin irritation and other toxicity problems.
Hexistat was developed in direct response to the needs of law enforcement and emergency-service personnel, who have been looking for a germicidal wipe that can be easily carried in the field and offers a high degree of protection from infection without the side effects of alcohol.

Hexistat provides the desired combination of protection and convenience that police, fire and emergency personnel need to ensure their health and safety, said Susan Mack, president and CEO of OMS Enterprises. Although Hexistat was developed for these high-risk occupations, it can be used by anyone just as easily. It is both powerful and portable, sized to fit easily into a purse or pocket.

The active ingredient in Hexistat is Benzethonium Chloride. When combined with Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Hexistat provides fast-acting protection against a wide range of micro-organisms. This non-toxic ingredient also offers the unique ability to safely bond to the skin, creating an added layer of long-lasting protection not available with products that use alcohol, iodine or other skin disinfectants. A typical application protects for several hours.

Each Hexistat Germicidal Hand Wipe is packaged in an easy-open pouch to provide ultimate convenience and portability. Unlike bulky pump dispensers or other containers,Hexistat pouches can be easily slipped into pockets, purses, wallets, glove compartments, first-aid kits, medical bags -- you name it. And, each hand wipe comes in a pleasant, gender-neutral fragrance.

Although Hexistat was custom-formulated for rigorous use by law enforcement and emergency service personnel, it can be used in any industry or environment where protection against infection is a concern. Hexistat is equally effective in schools, hotels, restaurants, airports, retail stores, offices, theme parks -- just about any place where contact is made with the public. It is ideal for camping and outdoor recreational activities where clean water is not available, and it makes a smart addition to first-aid and emergency-supply kits.

VALENCIA, California -- A rash of antibiotic-resistant staph infections at schools nationwide has prompted health officials to reiterate the importance of practicing good hand hygiene. Such infections can be prevented by regular cleaning of the hands, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Hundreds of cases of resistant staph infections have been reported across the country in recent weeks, including at least one case in which a high school student died. The infections include the potentially deadly methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), a bacterium that is resistant to penicillin and related antibiotics and is believed to cause up to 19,000 deaths a year in the U.S.

It is common for people to unknowingly carry staph bacteria (staphylococcus aureus) on their skin or in their nasal passages without ever developing symptoms of infection. Infection occurs when bacteria enter cuts, scrapes or breaks in the skin. It can spread as a result of skin-to-skin contact or from touching an item used by an infected person. MRSA infections commonly take the form of pus-filled pimples and boils. If left untreated, the infection can spread to internal organs and cause death.Preventive measures include thoroughly cleaning minor skin injuries such as cuts and scrapes, regularly washing hands with soap and water, and using a hand sanitizer that kills germs and bacteria.

Hexistat Germicidal Wipes have been specially formulated to destroy the vast majority of bacteria, microbes and viruses -- without the use of alcohol, which can cause additional skin irritation and other toxicity problems. The product was originally developed for law enforcement and emergency personnel who wanted a germicidal wipe that could be easily carried in the field and provide a high degree of protection from infection without the side effects of alcohol. The best offense is a good defense when it comes to protecting yourself and your family from dangerous infections, said Susan Awan, president and CEO of OMS Enterprises. Prevention can be achieved by simply washing hands regularly or using a bacteria-killing hand sanitizer. People should consider Hexistat for its effectiveness and portability. Each germicidal hand wipe comes in its own individually sealed, easy-open pouch. Most people have trouble carrying a bulky bottle of hand sanitizer with them wherever they go, Awan added. But several pouches of Hexistat can easily be slipped into a pocket or purse, providing maximum protection from infection absolutely anywhere.
